1) What is URL shortening? What does it do?
URL shortening sites are the URL shortening services
that rewards the publishers of the shortened links by offering some percentage
of the advertising revenue.
The members of these URL shortening sites fall into two different categories, Publishers and Advertisers.
A Publisher will earn money through these sites by placing the shortened links on their website / blog / Facebook / Twitter etc. Each time when of their visitors clicks on an shorten link they will first view a full page advertisement for prescribed seconds (set by the URL shortening sites usually between 5-10 seconds) before being able to click a Skip Ad button and continue to their intended destination. We share this revenue with the Publisher of the link.
Advertisers pay URL shortening sites for visitors to their website or affiliate URL. They can target a country, set a campaign budget and they are purchasing the visitors sent by our Publishers.
